The USBee was designed to prevent the damage to USB drives seen so often with conventional USB use. The elastic neck will bend when pushed in any axis. Pencil Printer created by designer Hoyoung Lee is not only for printing text, but also for its erasure. The trick in this concept is to use graphite extracted from scraps of ordinary pencils instead of toner. The printer has two “exits”. First one is for printed pages, the other one theoretically is for blank pages. Quite unusual eco concept. [link]
Nintendo has enjoyed a pretty solid grip on the handheld market with its Game Boy and DS units, and now it’s looking to expand that influence to dominate our stomach – or at least one talented chef of a fan is. The Nintendo DS bento looks to be a full meal with veggies, eggs, pasta, some, ah… wrapped stuff… some crunchy stuff… And of course Nintendo’s handheld, made from pink rice, some curry sauce and what I really hope isn’t white chocolate. This innovative design resembles a lot with a sun flower and was inspired by the great Sunny Flower design from Fandi Mang. iPetals has been envisioned as a bunch of petals that can be folded and unfolded with different color lightness which can be used as an iPhone stand too when all the petals are folded.
